Zaylee Jean Tabailloux

Thursday March 15th, Zaylee Jean Tabailloux was born.

I had skipped school for the occasion, after waiting on this baby for 9 months, an ocean away, I did NOT want to be in the middle of math class, absent for the special call saying we had a new Tabailloux and miss out on a wonderful family moment.

We had been pacing around the house all day, my mom and dad went out to buy a baby tree to plant in our garden, it helped them keep busy while we waited to get the news. I was up all night texting back and forth my sister in law Bethany to keep us updated on how far along the baby was and how Amanda and Paul were doing with it all. Not knowing if it was a girl or boy this whole time, we were all pretty set on it being a boy the last few months.
I was in my room when I heard agitation and ran down stairs, I saw my mom on the phone and my brothers and dad around her. My mother was crying (classic mom!) and my little brother was on the the other line with my sister Anna telling her the baby had arrived.
''So???Girl or boy?'' my mom answered by ''It's Zaylee'' (the name they had picked out for a girl).
It was the high light of our year!
Obviously I got teary, even more so once we learned what she looked like, and we were all balling our eyes out once we saw her face not 15 minutes later.
She was the prettiest thing we'd ever seen. Round face, almond blue eyes and the cutest little noes!

Amanda, my sister in law married my big brother Paul last April. I love her so much, she's a lot of fun, full of compassion, wisdom but most of all she's perfect for my big brother Paul.
I really like being around them both because I just love to see the way they love each other. They are a great example of the 1 Corinthians 13 verse about what Love is.
Paul constantly treats Amanda like the most precious pearl. Full of  care and tenderness for her, I know it, I've seen it!
Amanda always speaks about Paul with such respect as if he was the wisest man she had ever met. I admire them so much. There like that couple on your favorite TV show that you can't help but to love and watch all the ''best moments'' of them on youtube.
I just know they're gonna be the most amazing parents to sweet little Zaylee.

Here are a few pictures my big brother took of this sweet darling baby...

These top pictures are my favorite, and this is why...
In every picture that I've seen my big brother Paul with the baby, whether he be holding Zaylee or not. What I can't get over is the love I see in his eyes. I can't express the happiness it brings to see our own brother so in love with his baby girl. The way he look's at her is priceless, it's like he just discovered what ''amazing'' really means.

And I can't help but to think that that's the way God's been looking at us since the day we were born. He look's past all the bad things we did, the thing's were going to do (and I'm sure Paul knows little Zaylee wont always be this cute with him in years to come) but no matter what, God still love's us because we are HIS. Just like Zaylee to Amanda and Paul we bring him joy, we belong to his family, were attached, it's something that goes farther then sharing the same DNA.
It's a permanent love that no one can change.
Isn't that a wonderful thing?

18. Basics to Jenny Joy

I'm not quite sure what I should write about (but then again, that's probably how most people start out anyways).
But here's a few things I'll start out with...

I'm 18. I grew up in France to an American mother and French father, speaking both languages.
I have 5 brothers and 1 sister (when I introduce myself, I never fail to mention it because I am just so proud of my siblings. They have always been a huge part of my life).
This past year, my 2 oldest brothers married 2 wonderful women that I love soooo much. One of which is giving me the honor of becoming an Auntie next March (I'm too excited!).

I love God and wish to follow his ways. I want to live my life with as much passion as I have in me.
I'm bubbly, I like to have fun and get excited over small things (like chocolate cake on a sunny day). I talk fast (using my hands) and probably more then most people you know.
I love old movies, musicals and country music.
I play the guitar and named my ukulele "Woody". I sometimes write songs...
I looove babies and using the least of Spanish I know whenever I encounter Spaniards.

My plans for this next year are to graduate, hopefully go to college, study to become an English teacher so I can use it in other countries later on and spend a lot of time with my future niece or nephew in Chicago.
Eventually someday, I'll be married, have (A LOT OF) kids, be a stay at home mom and eat chocolate all day while watching hallmark movies...;)

Well, I guess I'll just see what happens :)
